Use your Steam PC copy of Bodycam
This guide covers Bodycam from Reissad Studio on Steam. It is a separate game from other shooters with a body-camera perspective.
Bodycam is sold separately from GameToMac. Your purchase stays with your Steam account. GameToMac prepares the Windows version for your Mac; this is not a native macOS release or cloud streaming.

How to play Bodycam on Mac
Choose Bodycam
Open GameToMac, select Bodycam, and choose Get started. Follow the setup prompts and let preparation finish.
Sign in to Steam
Use your own account in the Steam window opened by GameToMac. Complete Steam Guard if prompted.
Install the game
Install Bodycam in the suggested Steam library. Keep Steam open until downloading, unpacking, and verification finish.
Prepare your first session
Choose Play now in GameToMac. Check your mouse sensitivity, audio, and graphics settings before joining a session. Use your GameToMac library for future launches too.
Use the Steam window opened for Bodycam in GameToMac. Your normal Steam for macOS library is separate from this installation.
Before your first firefight
Get comfortable with the perspective
Bodycam’s camera movement and aiming feel different from a conventional shooter. Take time to check mouse sensitivity and audio before a match, and make one adjustment at a time.
Start with modest graphics settings
Detailed scenes can be demanding. Begin with modest settings and a lower resolution, then adjust during actual play. A responsive frame rate is more useful than maximum visual detail. Performance varies by Mac, settings, and scene; no particular frame rate is promised.
Close the game’s Steam session when requested
If GameToMac asks you to close Bodycam and its Steam session before retrying, save any progress and quit both normally. Reopen Bodycam through GameToMac so the session starts with the correct setup.
If the game stops responding
Note how long the session ran, the map or mode, and your graphics settings. Save any Show details message and open Help in GameToMac. Include your Mac model, memory, and macOS version. Keep the installation in place while reporting the issue.
After an update
Let Steam finish downloading and verifying game updates. Updates can change compatibility, so keep GameToMac current and report any new launch problem with the exact message.
