03 / INSTALL AND PLAY
How to play Age of Mythology: Retold on Mac
Choose Age of Mythology: Retold
Open GameToMac, select Age of Mythology: Retold, and choose Get started.
Sign in to Steam
Follow the setup prompts and sign in through the Steam window opened by GameToMac.
Install Retold
Install your Steam copy and wait for downloading and verification to finish.
Begin your legend
Return to GameToMac and choose Play now. Select your game mode in Retold.
To resume a multiplayer save, choose Multiplayer → Host → Game Mode → Saved Game. Multiplayer saves do not appear in the main-menu Load list.

Saves and camera controls
Find your multiplayer save
Open Multiplayer, choose Host, then set Game Mode to Saved Game. An empty main-menu Load list does not necessarily mean your multiplayer save is missing.
If scrolling stops at the bottom edge
Switch from Windowed to Borderless in the game’s settings, then try moving the camera at the bottom edge again.
