GTA V Enhanced: Mac requirements

- Apple Silicon (M1 or later), macOS 26 or later, and Rosetta.

- The Steam account that owns the game and a Rockstar account. Complete account linking when prompted.

03 / INSTALL AND PLAY
How to play GTA V Enhanced on Mac
Choose GTA V Enhanced
Open GameToMac, select GTA V Enhanced, and choose Get started.
Prepare the launchers
Follow the setup prompts. GameToMac prepares Steam, Rockstar, and the components this game needs.
Install Enhanced through Steam
Sign in to the Steam window opened by GameToMac. Select Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced and wait for installation and updates to finish.
Return to Los Santos
Choose Play now in GameToMac. Complete Rockstar sign-in and account linking when prompted, then enter Story Mode. Launch through GameToMac for later sessions too.
Choose the Enhanced edition in Steam. GTA Online is not supported by this setup; play Story Mode.

Before your first heist
Enhanced and Legacy are different editions
Check the title in your Steam library before installing. This GameToMac profile is for Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced, not GTA V Legacy.
Complete Rockstar sign-in
Use the Rockstar account linked to your Steam copy and follow the launcher’s prompts. Allow launcher updates to finish on first launch.
Graphics and display
GameToMac prepares fullscreen Story Mode for your main display with ray tracing and VSync disabled. Existing quality settings and saves are preserved. Performance depends on your Mac, resolution, and graphics settings; start with modest quality settings and adjust after playing.
